Morocco - nude dune jumping. Before you ask, I'm taking the photo so I'm not the subject.

Morocco - cooking sheep heads outside for the Aid el Kebir festival on 31 December 2006. There is no smell quite like it, I tell you.

Our guide, Habib. Quite a character.

Morocco - more sand

Morocco - a woman spinning wool in the Kasbah. No one actually lives there, so this was, sadly, a slightly subtle form of begging. This photo like almost all of the others including Moroccans as subjects, required making a payment of some kind.

Morocco - a Kasbah, somewhere near Ourzazarte. There is a local saying "see Ourzrazarte and die", according to the guidebook. No one is really sure what it means, although statistically speaking it seems likely that at some point a small number of people do see the town and then, in fact, expire, so there is at least a small amount of truth in it.

Morocco - driving through the Atlas mountains from Marrakech, on the way to the desert somewhere on the other side.

Morocco - driving up into the Altas mountains, looking back in the direction of Marrakech

Morocco - Number One with a couple of "performers", read "hustlers" in the place Djema el fna, Marrakech. That is a real live hen on the lady's hat, although it never moved. We weren't quite sure how it was fixed there, although it seemed happy enough.
